MASI has a variety of courses. These include English, languages, social studies, math, science and technology.  In English you will learn grammar skills, read books, write reports and study the English language in general. In languages class you will learn a foreign language, learn culture of the country and practice your foreign language on one of the possible field trips. Foreign languages include Spanish, French, German, Russian and Chinese. In the social studies class you will learn history, geography, and the culture of many, many different countries. In math you will learn algebra, geometry, calculus, famous theories and math formulae. Science and technology are more hands on than any of the other classes. In science you will learn about a countless number of subjects that include astronomy, biology, earth science, physics (including quantum), and chemistry. In technology students will learn, what new technology is surfacing, how things work, use a computer to design a program, find information, make a website and countless other things. Also in 12^th grade students participate in a investigation project. During this project students go to Microsoft and other companies to see how they are run. This helps students to focus on a career field. Bill Gates also teaches a few misc. classes and begins and ends each year with a speech to the students and parents. In all classes students are encouraged to ask questions, express ideas and to disagree if they feel the need.
